Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, to parents who were separated, I Romell Graves (owner of Kingdom Life Solutions), experienced firsthand the joys and challenges of being raised in a blended family. My dad married my lovely stepmom when I was 2 and my mom married when I was 12. Growing up I was able to see first hand how various ways of relating to one another can improve a marriage or lead to the detriment of a marriage. Additionally, my family taught and modeled for me the benefits of having a healthy spiritual foundation as both of my parents raised me in church. My childhood inspired me to work with couples and families so that homes can create emotionally intelligent young men and women who are ready to create healthy families of their own.
 

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University. Shortly after I earned my Masters degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. In my 2nd year of graduate school (2009) I married my beautiful wife with whom I now have 3 children (ages 11, 8 and 3). As a result of being married nearly 15 years and being a parent for 11 years I’ve learned various skills that relate to having a healthy marriage and being a reliable supportive parent. In addition, as a result of being a counseling professional for the same amount of time I have a variety of experience working in various mental health settings. I have worked in private practice, mental health hospitals, residential settings along with in-home counseling. As a result, Kingdom Life Solutions is well versed in working with a variety of populations.
